Incoming news for Rushing Beat X via BitSummit Drift!

Reveal Trailer

City Connection has announced that they will be participating in BitSummit Drift this month, with a couple of their upcoming projects playable at the event. Included in this will be Rushing Beat X, which was announced back in September of 2024.

For those of you not familiar, the Rushing Beat trilogy was a series of Super Famicom beat em ups released in the early 90s that were all localized under various different names: Rival Turf, Brawl Brothers and The PeaceKeepers, in that order.

Rushing Beat X: Return of the Brawl Brothers takes place between the last two titles with the intent of bringing the series back to the forefront.

From what was shown so far, the game will include the cast from the first 2 games as well as a brand new character named Kahlua.

Other art, as well as a teaser at the end of the trailer, hints at some returning peacekeepers as well, There was even a stream where some members dressed up as two of the protagonists! We hope everyone comes back for the project!

Bit Summit will be taking place from July 19th through the 21st, but that’s not all! City Connection will be hosting a video on the 17th, seemingly talking more about the project! You can check the embedded video below and be notified when it goes live!

All signs point to new information dropping for this exciting project, hopefully an improvement visually and in gameplay as well. Whatever the case is you can guarantee we’ll cover it here at Brawlers Avenue!
